Training
Opioid addiction has been declared an epidemic and a national emergency.  In 2016, there were 79 deaths due to opiate use in our area.  8% of high school students and 7% of middle school students report taking prescription drugs not prescribed to them.  It is imperative that we do a better job of identifying and treating opiate addiction.

The Opiate Treatment & Recovery Taskforce has developed a brief training that will give you an introduction to opiate addiction, address treatment approaches, and show what you can do to help.

Contact Carmen Greiner at cgreiner@lighthousefredericksburg.com for more information or to schedule a training for your organization.
